The SkyCity Hamilton Northern Spirit and Knights will step onto the field against the Wellington Blaze and Firebirds for the second time in three days at the Basin Reserve tomorrow.

The Wellington sides came to Bay Oval high on confidence and in home final positions on the table, but the day ended one game apiece with the Knights overcoming the Firebirds by five wickets, but the Spirit succumbing to the Blaze.

The Knights will be looking to roll out a similar performance to boost them up the table, with a clinical bowling performance only matched by their own feats with the bat.

For the Spirit, the key will be finding an answer to Sophie Devine.

The Spirit made early inroads into the Blaze line-up, but a Devine century took the game away from them and posted a total that forced the Spirit to take risks from ball one.

The Spirit have shown more than enough in this Super Smash campaign to suggest they could hand the Blaze their first defeat of the competition
